This online recruitment site and job board is owned and operated by Online Strategies Ltd with the objective of helping you find a suitable job and advance your career whilst maintaining your privacy - as defined by the UK Data Protection Act. All details required and completed in the registration document must be bona fide. Any registration details that are not considered to be bona fide will be locked or deleted. You are not allowed to register as a jobseeker by way of camoflague - and promote your company in any way to our customers, they will be deleted and any applications made in this manner will be blocked. Any confirmation registration emails not reaching the registered email address and returned as undelivered and unknown will result in these registrations being automatically locked off our site. If in the case that the registrant email address has been inputted wrongly or with errors please contact us and we will unlock your registration. All jobseekers are required to provide at least 3 of the following: your email address, your contact land line telephone number, your contact mobile number, your home postal address - this information is not sold to any 3rd parties and does not affect our duty of care to your data protection.

We regularly operate a responsible "policing" of CV's - and any CV's not deemed to be in compliance with our terms of business will be deleted immediately. ChefJobs.co.uk is a job and career site; therefore we give you the option of putting your CV into our database. There are several ways of doing this. (1) You may store your CV in our database, but not allow it to be searchable. Not allowing your CV to be searchable still means that you can use it to apply for a job online. Recruiters who purchase or CV search package will not have access to it. (2) Or, you can store it in our database and allow it to be searchable - without containing any personal information. If you allow your resume to be searchable, then all recruiters who pay for access to our CV database product will have access to your CV. As part of our registration process you may choose to make your personal details anonymous, whilst simultaneously marketing your CV. Should you receive a response from a search - you can choose to reveal your information at this stage.

We use our best efforts to grant access to the CV database to paying customers only, such as employers, recruiters, agency's, HR professionals, consultants (this list is not meant to be exhaustive). However, we are not responsible if a third party, posing as the aforementioned and paying for the service, evades security measures and gains access to our database, and, subsequently, your CV. You may remove your CV from our searchable database at any time, but please bear in mind that customers who have access to our CV search facility may have retained a copy of your CV. In these cases we are not responsible for the retention of, use of, copy of, or the privacy of any CV's in these instances.

It is important to remember that your current employer may be a customer of ChefJobs.co.uk, or a client of one of our customers. Hospitalityonline.co.uk cannot reasonably restrict customers who pay for the CV search package and therefore cannot be held responsible for any eventuality that may arise. Please know that our customer base is global.

It is important that your details, CV and contact details are kept up to date. You should update your CV at least every six months, particularly if your contact and CV details have changed.
APPLICATIONS: There are occassions when a jobseeker searching for a job on our site will miss a opportunity that matches their skills, or their ideal job. We therefore retain the right to match that job with their CV and search criteria.

topCV's Anonymous

You can choose to place your CV into our database in an anonymous manner., and you can choose to upload it in our format or in word format. If and when you choose to divulge your contact information it entirely up to you - during the recruitment process. You communicate via your own inbox on our site - as does the employer. We reserve the right to withdraw a CV from our database at any time.

topCV's - Database

You can choose to place your CV into our database. You can place as many CV as you wish into the database and you can choose two (2) types of CV's. The first choice, which will give you the best option of securing a job of your choice, is to complete a Hospitality recruitment CV format. The second (2nd) choice it to upload a Word format CV. You must comply with the terms and conditions above in placing a CV into our database. We reserve the right to withdraw a CV from our database at any time.

topEquipment

As a jobseeker it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate equipment to use this site, and are connected to the appropriate services to enable you to use this site appropriately.

topPasswords

Passwords are for the sole use of the person to whom they are issued. We may deny access to an account if we reasonably believe that an unauthorized person is using it or that the user is breaching these terms and conditions. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your information and password. You shall be responsible for all uses of your registration, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized use of your registration or password.

Employers

If you are an employer, employment agency or an employment business (as defined by the Employment Agencies Act 1973) it is your responsibility to ensure that any advertisements you intend to place on ChefJobs.co.uk comply with your obligations under the Employment Agencies Act, in compliance with job advertising, and in compliance with our terms of business. Only bona fide registered companies are allowed to register on this site - and they must provide all the information required on the registration form. Details supplied from employers must be verifiable in order to maintain our reputation. Failure to comply with these terms will result in the registration and any jobs posted being removed from the site. We do not guarantee any response to your advertisement or that responses will be from individuals suitable for the job advertised. It is your responsibility to carry out all such background checks, CV checks, reference checks and any mandatory checks, and all procedures as necessary to ensure that candidates are suitable for the job advertised. Only bona fide prospective hospitality employers, hospitality recruitment agencies, HR consultants, headhunters, and or person(s) given the responsibility to recruit shall regsiter on this site. We do not accept registrations or applications from job listing directories. Further we do not accept applications from recruitment agencies applying to jobs on behalf of jobseekers. The application process is policed rigorously.

topPlacing a Job on the Site

  • Placing a job on this site is done in the specified format, which we have provided. On www.chefjobs.co.uk you are allowed to advertise only one job at a time, per one job posting/payment - you are not allowed to advertise multiple vacancies on one job posting and use multiple titles in the title field - or "all levels" etc as part of the title - or in the body of the text.
  • If you have multiple vacancies advertised on one job postings and on the title field you risk the advert being deleted or changed by the webmaster without reference to you. If you want to advertise more than one vacancy you must purchase the equivalent purchases for these postings. All jobs posted must be a chef job or in part related to chef work - no other type of jobs are allowed to be posted on this site. General job postings indicating that many postions are available is not allowed on this site and you risk the advert being deleted by the webmaster. Job Posings must only contain the job description that it pertains to.
  • We do not allow postal addresses of any kind being displayed, contact names, tel numbers, email addresses or website addresses to be listed on the job postings - this is very much for your own protection - and it our duty of care to ensure that your details are not abused in any way.
  • We also do not allow applications links to employers sites for application purposes - as we an online recruitment site and all applications are encouraged to go through our sites. However there are exceptions to this and this is totally at the discretion of the management. However for the management to conisder this request the advertiser must in a monthly contract of no less than six (6) months.
  • All job postings on chefjobs.co.uk shall be chef jobs only. No other type of postings is allowed to be advertsied on the site - unless permission is gained from the Management of chef jobs. Only bona fide prospective employers, agencies HR consultants, headhunters, and or person(s) given the responsibility to recruit shall post job vacancies on this site. We accept no responsibility or liability for the contents of these vacancies whatsoever.
  • We do not allow hieroglyphics are allowed on the job title or on the text description - other than to indicate what star level the property is.
  • We do not allow hieroglyphics, exclamation marks, multiple stars and other symbols that are not in keeping should not be placed in the job description – or the job title. If they are they will be deleted and you will loose the job credit.
  • We do allow "cheesey text" of any type on the job postings - if in the opinion of the webmaster the text is considered to be "cheesey" - it will be changed / and or deleted

Recruitment Agencies terms of use

  • Agencies are and will remain part of our customer base. Agencies must at all times comply with the terms of use of this site (and other sites which we own). Under no circumstances are any agencies allowed to apply to jobs posted by an advertiser on behalf of a jobseeker. Further under no circumstances are recruitment agencies allowed to solicit our customers in any way via this site.
  • You must post your jobs in line with the terms and conditions sent to you under separate cover. Failure to comply with these terms of posting jobs on the site will on occasions result in the job being deleted and the job credit being deducted and not re-credited

Logos

You can place up to 5 logo's online at any time. You can use any one you choose and will be able to manage them via your logo control panel. If you do not upload a logo - then the HospitalityRecruitment.co.uk website default logo will be uploaded - and used against your job postings.

topResponses

In agreeing to these terms & conditions, the Customer accepts that Hospitalityonline.co.uk is an advertising medium and cannot guarantee any particular level of response to job adverts.

topCVs - General

All the CVs that are placed on this site are to our knowledge provided by bona fide jobseekers/candidates. We accept no responsibility or liability for the contents of CVs. We regularly operate a responsible "policing" of CV's - and any CV's not deemed to be in compliance with our terms of business will be deleted immediately.

topCV's Anonymous

Should a jobseeker/candidate choose to provide a CV in an anonymous format - it is entirely the jobseekers decision to choose when and if they divulge their contact information. We comply wholly with the data protection act - and will not divulge this information under any circumstances should the jobseeker choose to keep it confidential. Employers not acting or conducting their business in accordance with our terms & conditions and in accordance with the Jobseekers wishes shall be removed from our website and shall be restricted in conducting any business via this website.

topDealings with candidates

You agree to deal fairly and professionally with individuals you may contact using information from the candidate database and you do not do anything, which may bring HospitalityOnline.co.uk into disrepute. You will indemnify HospitalityOnline.co.uk from and against any claim brought by an individual against HospitalityOnline.co.uk arising from your breach of this obligation or any other of these terms and conditions.

topMerchant Bank License

In order to operate in a financial & professional manner - and take payments over the internet we had to obtain a valid Merchant License. To obtain this required a through investigation by our bank and other relevant authorities into our company. We are delighted to inform our customers that we have obtained a valid UK Bank Merchant licence that enables us to take payments from you via secure servers working directly with banks.

topCredit Card Payments

Once you have completed the selection of products you wish to purchase you may proceed to place an order. As soon as you click "continue" your browser will take you to a secure payment server provider - Protx.com. - and your browser will go into secure mode - i.e. you will notice that your browser address will be https://. All Data relating to your order and your personal and payment card details will all pass to our server in an encrypted and secure format. The online server provider will perform a series of checks on the card provided (this is totally for your own safety) and on acceptance you will be notified and an invoice will be sent to you personal email address. As soon as the secure payment provided has completed this you will exit the exit secure mode - and will be returned to our site. Your invoice will provide you with 2 reference numbers - (1) will be our reference number and (2) will be the secure payment server provider number. In the instance of any queries regarding your invoice you must first contact us - +44 (0) 208 487 1221. The Payment Service Provided is generally available seven (7) days per week, twenty-four (24) hours per day, however we are not responsible or liable for any down time on there servers. Should down-time occur on their servers you will be notified via the online screen that they cannot process your payment - and we therefore suggest you try later

We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including us, by e-mail. We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by Internet link or by e-mail. Any such loss shall not be borne either wholly or partly by us, and shall be entirely your responsibility. topCheque Payments

On choosing payment by cheque you will be sent an invoice via your personal email. On receipt and clearance of company/personal cheque your purchase will become live - you will be notified by email that your cheque has cleared - and you can then proceed with putting your purchases online via your account.

topCorporate Company Credit Account

Once approved (your company will need to complete a corporate account credit application form) you will be able to buy/purchase in line with the agreed contract and credit amount. In order to have an ongoing corporate credit account you must adhere and maintain to the terms and conditions associated with having a corporate credit account. Online Strategies Ltd - HospitalityOnline.co.uk reserves the right to cancel these accounts at any time - if these terms and conditions are not complied with. If your account is frozen and access to accounts is withheld we reserve the right to leave all vacancies posted online until further notice. We also reserve the right to re-direct any applications made to these vacancies.

topUK vat payments at point of purchase

UK CUSTOMERS - all UK customers with a UK billing/accounts/credit card address WILL BE charged VAT @17.5% - (UK vat registered customers will be able to reclaim VAT subject to standard conditions and rules)

  • EU CUSTOMERS - all EU customers with an EU billing/accounts/credit card address and providing an EU VAT number WILL NOT BE charged vat @ 17.5% (you will be required to account for your own VAT in your own member country)
  • EU CUSTOMERS - all EU customers with an EU billing/accounts/credit card address and NOT providing an EU VAT number WILL BE charged VAT @ 17.5%
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS (i.e. all customers outside the UK and EU) - All international customers providing an International billing/accounts/credit card address WILL NOT BE charged with VAT @ 17.5%. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate equipment, and are connected to the appropriate services to enable you to post jobs, complete forms, send and edit profile pages, or upload logos and pictures. HospitalityOnline.co.uk will accept the majority of items via Land Postal service - provided they are sent in the correct format.

Hospitalityonline.co.uk gives you the option of providing job vacancies and other company information. Hospitalityonline.co.uk provides different levels of service for these options. All the information is governed by our privacy policy. All third party contractors are contracted solely on a strict confidentiality agreement.

topUse of the database

The product you have purchased from us determines the material you are entitled to receive from us. On receipt of purchase you may, search or download it, for the purpose of finding suitable candidates for specific job vacancies that you or (if you are an employment agency or employment business) your client wish to fill. The use of the information about the individuals contained in the database is solely for the purpose of contacting them in relation to a specific job vacancy. This information is to be strictly used in connection with your own recruitment-related activities. You may not supply, or sell any material from the database, or copy it to any other person, including another member of your group of companies (excluding companies who have a current group company account with HospitalityOnline.co.uk). You may not contact the individuals on the database or make or allow any use of the information about those individuals, other than for the purpose of finding suitable candidates for specific job vacancies. You must, at all times, comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and all subsequent legislation and regulations. Further, you agree to delete all material from the candidate database upon its replacement with the latest material.

topDealings with candidates

You agree to deal fairly and professionally with individuals you may contact using information from the candidate database and you do not do anything, which may bring HospitalityOnline.co.uk into disrepute. You will indemnify HospitalityOnline.co.uk from and against any claim brought by an individual against HospitalityOnline.co.uk arising from your breach of this obligation or any other of these terms and conditions.

topPasswords

Passwords are for the sole use of the person or companies to whom they are issued. We may deny access to a password - or group password(s) - if we reasonably believe that any unauthorized person(s) or users are breaching these terms and conditions.
