CHEF DE PARTIE – SOUTH LONDON – 1 ROSETTE - BUSY RESTAURANT -£19.5K

The Job: CHEF DE PARTIE

Salary: £19,500

A well respected, established and high standard restaurant in the heart of south London is seeking a hardworking and flexible Chef de Partie to manage all sections and to work under the head chef, pushing the restaurant forward and maintaining the 1 Rosette it already holds.

This eatery is part of a respected company, serving good quality, fresh and rigorously sourced British food, usually in high volume environments. This particular venue serves over 200 covers daily, over 3 meals a day including busy summer barbeques. The food is robust and the main emphasis is on the busy grill area.

The kitchen is busy, and a team of 8 chefs ensure a high level of food service and preparation at all times, cooking from quarterly changing menus and the daily changing specials board. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of British cuisines , and will be able to work under pressure in a high volume kitchen.

This is a great opportunity for a Chef de Partie to come in and earn a good salary, working great hours, but cooking food to very high standards. You will be working 45-50 hours per week, earning a salary of c£19K and only doing lunch Sundays. Candidates will have worked in a busy London restaurant before, and must have a flexible attitude to their work.
