Permanent Full time 9am-6pm

£18,000pa with excellent benefits and 30 days holiday rising to 35 days after 5 years’ continuous service

It is an exciting time at Loch Lomond Golf Club as we plan the opening of our new Deli in our beautiful Walled Garden Spa in June 2018. We are now recruiting a chef to work over 5 shifts per week) 9am-6pm. As we are a Private Members Club the role will be to welcome all guests to the Deli and look after all of their requirements during their dining experience at the Spa.

This will include the following:

  • Welcome all guests and assist with seating if required.
  • Ensure that kitchen is appropriately stocked for the business ahead.
  • Carry out daily checklist to ensure that all facilities are in working order and set up
  • Utilise the member profiles where possible and be aware of allergies and dietary requirements.
  • Arrange full set up of the dining
  • Ensure all menus are correct.
  • Coordinate and provide the food service from kitchen to table ensuring exceptional and consistent level of food service.
  • Carry out full clear down after ensuring the kitchen area is clean and presentable and re set.
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety checks have been completed and signed off. 
  • Ensure all stock and supplies are at correct stock levels and maintained under optimum conditions
  • Liaise with Spa Management for handover.
  • Ensuring service standard, member expectations and consistency within the “deli in the spa” are maintained
  • Responsible for regular stocktaking of all Perishable items and Beverages

We are looking for someone with both kitchen and Food & Beverage service experience

You must have:

  • Good time management skills as this will be a standalone where you must be able to think on your feet role
  • A “can do” attitude, able to run this operation to military precision at all times.
  • You will have a hands-on approach, a positive attitude as well as the confidence to deal with some very demanding and high profile clientele.
  • Immaculate presentation, outgoing personality, excellent communication and customer service skills are required for this highly visible role.
