What will you do:

You will work closely with the General Manager & Service Manager in preparing quality brunch/lunch items, finishing off cakes & assembling afternoon tea items with a keen eye for the detail and ensuring only the highest quality products leave the kitchen. 

What are we looking for in our Kitchen Cook.  

Fluency in spoken and written English is a must requirement.

Well mannered, flexible and enthusiastic hands-on individuals who are both hard-working and really value the customers experience through their taste senses. Previous experience in preparing food and an aspiration for creativity when it comes to food. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serving the Public:

  • Dealing with the public in a sincere and helpful manner.
  • Great eye for detail when preparing quality food products 
  • Taking pride in every dish that leaves the kitchen 
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety regulations are met
  • Communicating clearly between the floor staff & the kitchen 
  • Assisting in serving customers both at the till and on the floor
  • Cleaning, and helping to maintain the highest standard both in shop and through customer service

General:

  • Understanding all safety procedures relating to fire and security (full training will be provided before and during employment).

Skills Profile:

  • Have good verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Have knowledge of food hygiene procedures and how to handle food safely.
  • Have a confident and friendly manner with a positive approach to solving difficulties and problems.
  • Have an eye for quality & creative nature surrounding all things food. 
  • Understand all safety procedures relating to fire and security.
  • Be of clean and tidy appearance.
  • Be responsible, honest and reliable.
  • Be an enthusiastic team member and love to work with others.
