Demi Chef de Partie - London

It's using your expertise to deliver the highest standards

It's being encouraged to develop your skills. And it’s contributing to a team who deliver extraordinary service. This is what makes a career with the Royal Household exceptional.

Joining an accomplished team of professionals, you’ll work hands-on to deliver food to the highest standards.

You'll prepare diverse menus for a wide range of events, learning essential skills that will provide stepping stones for a great career.

Working with quality ingredients and alongside skilled colleagues, your role will be diverse, rotating through all sections of the kitchen.

And in an environment where development and training is commonplace, you'll be supported to grow within your role.

Whether you're based at Buckingham Palace, or working at other Royal residences, you'll look forward to whatever challenge comes your way.

About you

As you'd expect, standards are exceptionally high here, and every day is busy, so you’ll need to be an ambitious and qualified chef.

You may have some previous experience within a premier kitchen or volume catering environment, but it’s your ability and enthusiasm to deliver across all sections of the kitchen that we're looking for.

You’re at your best working in a team, and with your strong communication skills and adaptability, you'll enjoy working alongside your colleagues.

Attention to detail is vital too, as is your ability to meet deadlines and make sure food is delivered on time.

Most importantly though, you have a clear passion for food and the catering industry, and will be eager to learn new skills.

This role will be based in London, and will involve travelling to other Royal residences. In return you can look forward to working in a unique and stimulating work environment, and be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary) and meals on duty. The role also offers the option to live-in with all meals are provided (for which there is a salary adjustment). Training and development is encouraged and you will have access to a range of recreational facilities.
