Primarily based in Christchurch, Dorset, but also at our locations in Hampshire, Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and the Cotswolds, the General Decking Assistant will assist with the building of our decks to holiday homes across our 8 Parks. No experience is necessary as full training will be given to the successful candidate, but you must be enthusiastic, take pride in your work, willing to learn, have a good work ethic and be a strong team player.

You will need to have:

  • The ability to ensure Health & Safety issues are addressed and managed
  • The ability to foster strong working relationships with both our internal and external customers and suppliers
  • An up to date knowledge of best practice
  • Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
  • Ability to work independently at times
  • Experience of working with UPVC products is desirable but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive from one site to another.

This is a seasonal contract and the hours of work for this position are 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday paying the National Minimum Wage. Overtime will be paid together with an away allowance whilst working at our distant parks.

The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some anti-social hours including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

As a member of staff, you will have a Hoburne Team Card giving you access to a range of staff benefits and 22 working days holiday per year.

If you think you have the experience, skills and attributes we are looking for, please e-mail your C.V. and covering letter.
