Chef de Partie | Hospitality | Up to £9.50 per hour | Wrexham | 1 in 3 weekends - 28 to 35 Hours

Spire Yale Hospital in Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to move into a Chef position. You will join our Hospitality and Facilities team on a Full-time basis, 5 days per week. You will be part of a team that prides itself on providing exemplary quality food and service to our Patients, Visitors and Colleagues at all times.

Shift patterns are as follows;

Monday to Friday; 11:00 to 18:30

Saturday; 07:30 to 18:00, Sunday 07:30 to 14:30 (1 in 3 weekends)

Spire Yale hospital is the only independent hospital in North Wales. The hospital opened in 1998 and provides the highest level of medical treatment and care delivered by excellent local consultants and clinical staff. Situated on the outskirts of Wrexham the site benefits from attractive landscaped gardens, purpose built main hospital and an outpatient department.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be required to work as part of a team to assist with the delivery of a food and beverage service to patients, consultants and staff in both the restaurant and patient rooms. Working to budget, stock control and current legislation, you will also have extensive knowledge of Allergens and assisting with service. You will ensure that all work is carried out in a hygienic and methodical manner.

The post-holder will also be responsible for pro-actively engaging with our patients to raise awareness of the availability of a food and beverage service that can be tailored to suit their individual needs.

Who we're looking for

• City and Guilds Qualification or equivalent
• Allergen knowledge and/or qualifications
• Excellent communicator.
• Experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
