tvg hospitality currently operates three venues in the United Kingdom with six projects currently in development and under contract in the United States and further new sites in both countries pending.

In close partnership with the City of Huntsville, tvg hospitality will be opening the groundbreaking Orion Amphitheater on the 7th of May 2022. Inspired by the grand open-air amphitheaters of Ancient Greece, this 8,000 person capacity destination will host an exciting line up of world-class performers and is further supported by three stories of unique concessions ranging from the Madkin & Weeden tap rooms through Isadora’s wine bar, El Cohete Taco & Tequila, and the dramatic sky bar with immense views of both the stage and the surrounding landscape.

ROLE: Sous Chef – New F&B Concept launching Summer 2022 in London Bridge

SALARY: £32k plus service, full time

HOLIDAY: 25 days plus Bank Holidays annually, increasing to 28 days after 2 complete years. An extra day to enjoy celebrating your birthday!

REPORTS TO: Head Chef

Duties will include:

• Overall responsibility in Head Chef’s absence for managing the kitchen team.
• Work with the Head Chef to deliver all budgetary targets on site through a thorough understanding of GP and calculation of menu costs through recipes.
• Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
• Make sure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
• Monitor and ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.

Requirements

As our Sous Chef we would love you to have:

• At least 1 year kitchen experience as a Sous Chef working in a busy kitchen
• A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Awareness of health and safety, food hygiene, COSH and HACCP legislation, Food Safety Level 3.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude and be an excellent team leader.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and be excited to work in a vibrant, busy environment.
