ROLE: Sous Chef – New F&B Concept launching Summer 2022 in London Bridge

SALARY: £32k plus service, full time with guaranteed Sunday and Monday off.

HOLIDAY: 25 days plus Bank Holidays annually, increasing to 28 days after 2 complete years. An extra day to enjoy celebrating your birthday!



Duties will include:

  • Overall responsibility in Head Chef’s absence for managing the kitchen team.
  • Work with the Head Chef to deliver all budgetary targets on site through a thorough understanding of GP and calculation of menu costs through recipes.
  • Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Make sure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
  • Monitor and ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.

As our Sous Chef we would love you to have:

  • At least 1 year kitchen experience as a Sous Chef working in a busy kitchen
  • A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Awareness of health and safety, food hygiene, COSH and HACCP legislation, Food Safety Level 3.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude and be an excellent team leader.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and be excited to work in a vibrant, busy environment.
