Chop, flash, sear, fry, bake, whisk, clanging pans, meals on tracks, al-a-carte or buffet; working in our kitchens is beyond any culinary environment you’ve ever been in.  Feeding the thousands of hungry tummies before and after a day at our resort is not your average chef job!

Here at the Alton Towers Resort we’re super proud to have 5 hotels including the amazing Alton Towers Hotel and the world’s only CBeebies Land Hotel. To top that off we have a state of the art conference and events venue with kitchens to boot! From every day dining, winter balls, corporate lunches and banquets, this is not your average environment to show of your culinary skills.

Getting here:

Nestled in the middle of the Staffordshire Moorlands, we’re in the very heart of the UK being only an hour away from Derby, Manchester and Birmingham. We have our very own employee transport system that accommodates all shifts, day and night, 7 days a week, all year round (just not Christmas day). Of course if you drive, there is ample space to park your car.

Where do I live when I work at Alton Towers?:

Although Alton Towers is in the glorious rolling countryside, we’re very close to local cities and towns. Our employee transport runs through most of the adjoining villages and towns transporting hundreds of our employees daily. Whilst we have no accommodation on site, we do have links to external companies that offer very affordable accommodation which is also on our transport route.  Stoke or Cheadle are where most of our employees choose to live.
