Better People

The British cafe scene is a fast growing and dynamic market. Not only are we determined to be the best around, we are equally determined to be the best employer, providing careers that build confidence to all our people to be the best they can be, whilst also being accepted for who they are. Our cafes are brilliant places to be in. We deliver phenomenal coffee and teas and incredible ethically sourced food, but what really makes us ‘us’, is our people.

Our values and manifesto are more than just words, we live, breathe and let them guide us every day. You can read all about them in our Brand Deck on the Making Things Better page. Whilst we hope you share them, it’s cool if you don’t, but we’re probably not the place for you.

Our Success Stories

We’ll be sure you’re trained and developed and if you want to progress you’ll know how.  This is how it happened for some of our current superstars:

Here’s what Sam, our Regional Kitchen Trainer has to say about his journey…

My career with Boston Tea Party started many moons ago, when achieving GP% targets and developing a trusted team were just a distant dream.

Working as a Kitchen Team member when I started and now as a Regional Kitchen Trainer, I have had a challenging yet heavily rewarding career with BTP. I have learnt many new skills along the way and honed many existing ones, all with the support of qualified General Managers a solid Operational team.

With BTP I have worked for and with a rainbow of different characters, each of whom, not only has developed me as a worker but also as a person. It’s the personal qualities of BTP that remain its biggest allure.

Training, development and recognition of high performance have always been areas of interest to me. These areas of work within BTP have always been pushed and supported from within, turning Team Members into experienced chefs on a regular basis. It’s those success stories, amongst others, that excite me about my current role.

We’re always looking for lovely people, especially as we grow.  Our current locations can be found in: Bath, Bristol, Stratford-upon-Avon, Harborne, Birmingham, Worcester, Cheltenham, Salisbury, Ringwood, Exeter, Honiton, Barnstaple and Plymouth.

HQ

Our Support Team (including Operations, Finance, HR, Product Development, Marketing and Training) who are based in Bristol is also growing and we always look to our cafes first as we know we have the best people already working for us.
