The role of Demi Chef de Partie involves assisting in the preparation and production of all desserts and pastry items, maintaining the smooth running of the Operation under the guidance of our Executive Pastry Chef.

  • Responsible for preparation of sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, breads, chocolates and show pieces while ensuring superior quality and consistency.
  • Assisting with the creation of new menu items
  • Making dishes for events
  • Ensuring all health and safety practices are consistently adhered to

The ideal Demi Chef de Partie candidate will be:

  • Passionate about the culinary industry and use of fresh local produce
  • Experienced within a similar hotel or fine dining environment or NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent in Culinary or catering fields.
  • Good understanding and use of English language
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and COSHH
  • Food Hygiene qualification (CIEH or equivalent)
  • Commitment to teamwork and good communication skills
  • Passion for the Pastry & Culinary world required
