About POLPO

POLPO, meaning “octopus” in Italian, is a Venetian bàcaro – a humble restaurant serving simple but authentic food all freshly prepared on-site, paired with young Italian wines and classic Italian aperitivo cocktails. The interior is deliberately stripped back to reflect the gloriously faded elegance of Venice and the charms of its backstreet wine bars.

POLPO Soho opened in September 2009 to immediate acclaim and we since opened a further five POLPOs across London & Brighton.
